If you are coming from Istanbul by car, after exiting the ferry jetty, take the first right to the historical clock tower, and Anzac Hotel will appear in front of you. However the road is a one way road and Anzac Hotel is located on the opposite direction of the road, therefore carry on driving till to the end of the road, then make a U turn and drive down to opposite direction, when you reach to the historical clock tower again, you can park in front of Anzac in order to take off the luaguages. We have 2 private car parks. Our Staff are Professional drivers, they can take your car to one of our car parks.
If you are coming from cities other than Istanbul, drive down to Ferry Jetty Square, when you reach the ferry jetty square, you will the clock tower and Anzac Hotel side by side.

If you rent a car from Istanbul, the directions to Canakkale are as follow.
Take the E6 'pay road' to the 'EDIRNE' Direction, Exit from the pay road from the 'KINALI' Exit. Follow the road to 'TEKIRDAG', and after 'TEKIRDAG' you will pass the town 'MALKARA'. After 'MALKARA', carry on to the town KESAN. After KESAN, follow the road to CANAKKALE direction. On the road, you will pass through 'GELIBOLU' town , and finally arrive to ECEABAT. In ECEABAT, you will take the ferries to CANAKKALE.There are frequent ferries almost every hour on the hour 24 hours / 7 day. It takes around 25 minutes to cross the dardanelles strait and arrive CANAKKALE.
If the que is too long for the ferry to CANAKKALE, you can carry on the village KILITBAHIR, which is just 3 km away from ECEABAT. There are medium size ferries working between KILITBAHIR and CANAKKALE. They cross the strait in 15 minutes.

Anzac Hotel is surrounded by several historical buildings, restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, clubs, and shops at the oldest part of Canakkale. The sea side is just 50 meter away, where you can walk by the lovely shores of dardanelles. Hotel Anzac is located adjacent to the Historical Clock Tower Square, which is one of the most attractive monument of Canakkale. It was built with the money bequeathed by Emilio Vitalis, the italian vice-consul in the 1890s. The Canakkale Onsekizmart University exhibition center lies opposite of Anzac Hotel. This building was former Italian Consulate. ‘Cimenlik Castle’ (built by Mehmet the conqueror , the ottomon sultan in about 1462) and Naval Museum (mainly devoted to photos, newspapers, and artifacts connected with Gallipoli Campaign) are just 200 meter away from the Anzac Hotel. A replica of the original form of Nusret minelayer battleship also lies in the Cimenlik Park, where both Cimenlik Castle and Naval Museum take place. For those, who want to trace their ancestors in Gallipoli Campaign, Commonwealth War Graves Commission office (CWGC) is also very close to the Anzac Hotel. If you take the street to the right of the clock tower, after about 100 meter, Commonwealth War Grave Commission office appears.
